Intel Embedded Lifecycle Increased to 7 Years! Intel's Embedded Communication Group (ECG) has increased the guaranteed lifecycle of components included on their embedded roadmap from 5 up to 7 years. This is very good news for Innocore and our customers since it guarantees the chipsets and CPU's used on some of our most popular products including DPX-112, DPX-117, and also the new products (DPX-S305, S410, C605, C705) which will have silicon available into 2014! Intel's ECG is dedicated to providing long life manufacturing support for the embedded market. Over the last 10 years Intel is the only chipset and CPU supplier that has lived up to their promises to support long lifecycles for their products. We welcome this move and will continue to pass on the benefits to our customers. ![]()
Dansk Automat Expert A/S Design Win Since
1977, DAE Denmark has been at the forefront of game technology, always
implementing the latest technologies. Their continuous investments in
Research and Development place them in the top amongst the most
professional AWP manufacturers in the world. Their products have been
sold in major markets including; Germany, Norway, and Hungary. The
company's "NG Topgame" products will be based on
Innocore's DPX-117 and offer several video configurations, making
use of both the Intel Integrated graphics of the DPX-117 and also the
LVDS interface available with some of the MXMs cards. Until
now DAE has been developing their own systems from hardware to
software, but taking the step to their Next Generation Topgame they realized
that developing their own hardware to this project was not a
profitable idea. In fact their main business is now developing the new
game concepts and of course program their own software. DAE
was around different suppliers of hardware but found out that Innocore
was the best supplier for them - relating to hardware and very
important - and effectively back up to their software staff. Kim Elgaard of DAE commented "We are very pleased with the cooperation with Innocore, and although we know that we don't buy quantities as the big manufactures abroad we get the same very good service and feed back from Innocore."
Proof of Our longevity claim - 10 Years in Production! Through a strong customer relationship and careful component End Of Life management Innocore has taken it's DPX-80 into its 10th year of continuous production. Designed in 1998, the Pentium Class motherboard has shipped in significant volumes to 4 continents. This clearly illustrates Innocore's commitment to the gaming industry to support our customers with the longest lifecycles for our products.
New Staff recruitment further strengthens Innocore's Software team
We are pleased to welcome
Mithu Prakesh to our software engineering group. Mithu joined Innocore from AMI India and we are sure that her
experience in BIOS, firmware and application development will add further
strength to our software group.
